Ugh, glucose drink during meeting?

I just found out that I have a meeting right before my doctor's appointment where I will get my GTT. The appointment is at 3, and meeting is 1:30-2:30. That means I'll need to drink my drink in my meeting. Those who have done this...will I be completely sickened if I do this? Or can I just sit there and chug it (over the course of the time limit, of course, my doctor said 10 min max), and be fine? Just not sure if chugging this drink during this meeting is going to be something I'll regret.

    You should be fine.  The drink I had last time tasted like cheap juice.

    Last time, my appointment was to get the drink and then sit there in the lab waiting area for the hour.  Are you sure you will have the drink with you at work?

    Yep, they told me to drink it 45 minutes before my 3pm appt. I have the drink in my fridge now, and will bring it to my work fridge the day of my GTT.

    ETA: Thanks everyone, I guess I was just picturing chugging this thing and being completely disgusted while people watch me. I guess it won't be so bad!

    Mine tasted like flat sprite - I actually kinda liked it, but I have a sweet tooth.  I didnt feel sick at all afterwards.  Good luck!

    I drank mine today in about 2 minutes. Tasted like the orange drink from McDonalds. Not bad at all.

    when i had mine last time, it was just like flat orange soda.  really not gross at all, other than the fact that i rarely drink soda, so i wasn't used to the taste.

    Just bring a cup into the meeting with some ice and pour it over the ice to drink out of the cup.
