Shower vent

I am so tired of local friends asking me about when my shower is.  I have 2 family showers (both oot) and a church shower but none of my friends has offered to host a shower.  I am fine with not having a friends one and realize I am very blessed to already have 3, but at least 5 friends have come to me asking when my shower is and when I tell them there isn't one planned they make me feel bad about it.  I am tired of them bugging me to have one, and then following up with a reason why they can't throw it.

    that stinks. my friends asked about my shower and i told her there wasn't one planed she offered to throw a shower for me. (note: i was not hinting that i wanted one just stating fact.) I was not going to have one because my family is focused on my sisters HS graduation and they should be. it's her time since i got married last summer and DH's family did not offer to do anything. since your friends are not offering to do anything you might want to have a casual "meet the baby" party after LO is born.
