Hi everyone! I am hoping to get some insight as I feel a little in the dark. I had an ultrasound done this week to help find out why I have not gotten pregnant after 15 cycles. The Dr. said I have a uterine anomaly. I am having an MRI done later this week to rule out a need for corrective surgery. Does an arcuate uterus effect your chances of becoming pregnant? Does anyone have any experience or knowledge on this? Thank you!
Re: Uterine anomaly?
I believe this is also known as a "septate uterus" and there are a few girls on here who have this. Most need surgery to remove the septum if it is severe enough to cause complications. The problem with trying to get pg is that the embryo won't attach to the septum because the lining is not good there. Good luck to you!
