Got to our birth weight!

Yesterday we had yet another weight check.. DS was born 10lb 11oz, and at this first apt was down to 9/11 w/ jaundice.. so we started feeding every 2 hours (day and night) and 3 days later his jaundice was down and he was up to 10/3.  So we went back for his 2 week apt (a week later) and he was will 10/3.. Doc had us come back a week later (yesterday) and he was finally 10lbs 11oz.  I am pretty glad he is finally back to his birth weight!  :)

    Congrats on making it back to birth weight.  We are still in the process of struggling with this.  My LO was 9lb 3oz. at birth, dropped to 8lb 11oz. by the time we left the hospital and then dropped again to 8lb. 8oz. Just went to the dr. today and found out she is up to 8lb. 10oz. So a few more visits in store for us but atleast we are finally moving in the right direction. Glad to hear your success...gives me some hope that we will make it there soon!

    Glad to hear things are back on track :)  I feel so bad that I haven't been on here very much~  but I've been wondering how you were doing!!

    hey!  yea don't worry your little one will gain, I had a nurse tell me that bf babies gain a little slower are first, but then they get back on track.. Just give it time and keep feeding!  :)

    Shanin, Yea, I've been wondering the same about you!  We are doing good..  How are you guys doing?
