How far dialated are you?

I was 4 cm last week, and I thought for sure I would have gone into labor by now, but nothing. I go again tomorrow and see where I'm at.

I thought 4 cm seemed pretty far along, but was just wondering if it's common. This is also #2 for me, so maybe that's why?

I am at 3, which seems so odd b/c with # 1, at 3 cm I was in active labor and getting ready for my epi!
I don't think I will come early though.

last week i was a finger tip dilated and 90-100% effaced.

I find out tomorrow if I made any progress!

My next appointment is tomorrow, but far I've been at 0.

I did have some uncomfortable contractions on Monday, but they turned out to be a false alarm. I don't know if that's an indication I might have progressed by tomorrow or not...?

I've been a fingertip since 36 weeks and was told last friday my cervix is very soft. We will see what she says this Friday.

I am between 2 and 3 cm but 80-90% effaced. From what I've been told, the effacement is what tells more about possible labor than the dialation.

Last week, the midwife couldn't even get to my cervix. But as of today it was "right there" and I am 3 cm dilated.

I was 2cm dilated and 70% effaced as of last week. I go in tomorrow to see if any progress has been made. Yeah, I would think you would have had more activity...especially since this is your second child. But then again, you can walk around dilated for weeks, eh? Hang in there!
