NBR: need some fashion help

I am going to a wedding in D.C. this weekend and would like to wear this dress:

Problem is, I'm not sure what to wear on my legs/feet. In this picture, I am wearing nothing on my legs and peep toe, black heels (with a little detailing like the scallops on my dress.) Do you think that would be OK for a more formal wedding? It's not supposed to be too, too cold in D.C. but I will have to walk about two blocks back and forth between the hotel and wedding/reception. What about black tights with some other sort of shoe? Any other suggestions?

IMO March is too close to spring for tights. I'd go with the peep toe shoe and no hose, etc. As long as you can handle the chill- I think you'd look great.

This exactly. And I can't believe you are asking for fashion advice! You always looks so nice and well put together!

Well...I may have been hoping someone would have a suggestion that would require me to go out and buy a new pair of shoes...ha!
