DD is a basket case today- vent

Elena has a cold but she is acting so out of sorts! She is throwing major tantrums when she gets tired, I have to leave her screaming in the crib and two minutes later she is out cold. (she took two today because she woke up so early). I gave her Ibuprofen because she was so unhappy, doesn't seem to be helping any. No fever, just frustrating! 

I hate hate hate leaving her crying in the crib like that but there was no choice because even if I took her out she was still crying  since she is so tired. Sad day for mom.

    Poor baby... poor mama!!  Any chance you check her ears at home?  Sounds like the type of abnormal behavoir we get from DS when he has an ear infection.  (Although... I pretty much blame ALL abnormal behavior on ear infections... since we've had so many!!).

    She slept really well last night. I would expect her to wake up crying if she had an ear infection, don't you think? I hope not and no I don't have an otoscope. I ordered one but it has not arrived yet.

    Yeah, that's true about the night wake ups!  Maybe its just on off day!  And hopefuly she'll wake up in a better mood!!

    I'd maybe take her in to get her ears checked.  Lucas has had 2 ear infections and neither time did it affect his night time sleep.
