PSA: Cord blood donation @ Providence
I mentioned this a few weeks ago and have done a bunch of research. We had mentioned that Providence does not yet have a program for this. I've been in touch with the 4 companies that can work with outside hospitals in terms of donating cord blood. It's actually down to 3 companies, each with their own terms.
I won't post it all here because I know it's not general interest. But if you're delivering at Providence and interested in the info on cord blood donation companies, feel free to send me a PM. I'm happy to share what I've learned. Sadly, the options are few and have requirements of your provider or may depend on the day of the week that you deliver.
