It's apparently a British book series/TV show. I stumbled upon one of these books at the library, and Holly has become obsessed with the characters and the series. I went and checked a whole bunch of them out last week, and want to try and buy her some.
I figure if it will get her attention off YGG a little, I'm open to a new obsession. ![]()
I was just surprised that I'd never heard of it. I did find the TV show on Disney, and have DVR'd it (though it apparently only comes on on Saturdays, so we haven't seen one yet). But it's pretty cute. The language used in it is laughably british sometimes (my child now says "it's a dreadful disaster!" all the time). I'd say it's a little more girl focused, but the main characters are a boy, and his little sister. Just thought I'd share!

Re: Have you ever heard of "Charlie and Lola?"
Maddie loves Peppa Pig too! I was wondering why the heck it kept coming on over and over for 25 minutes this weekend! I personally think they are a little annoying with all of their snorting, but she loves it, lol.
Jill, Maddie has moved on from her YGG obsession to a Little Bear obession. She still likes YGG, but she is all about Little Bear now. I don't get it, it seems pretty boring to me but she can't get enough of it! My mom bought her a YGG DVD with an episode where Toodee is sick and a doctor comes, and now that's the only YGG episode she wants to watch, she thinks it's the greatest one ever, lol.
You have got to get a video of her saying "this is a dreadful disaster!" That is just hilarious.
