So not ready! (vent)

Why is time FLYING?!?!?

I am going to be 16 weeks tomorrow.. and I find out what this little one is gender wise on April 1st. (Hopefully the tech doesn't mess with me!)

Can time slow down just a little? I have no intentions on buying anything till we "hopefully" move in June. So that will give me two full months to buy, and three months to start saving some money.

I really with DH was having an easier time finding a job, because I am running out of time to find one to replace the one I am loosing. Which I came across an add on Craigslist for them looking for my replacement. It finally sunk in that they are dismissing me... and because I have my own baby growing. Totally not fair, but nothing I can do about it. I need to find SOMETHING... or else we will have NO income once April hits.

The whole plan of DH having a job that makes enough to cover expenses so I can stay home and watch another little one with mine... is starting to seem like it is not going to happen. I want to EBF... and do not even want to think bottles...may have to choose a different route.

I am praying things work out in the next month or so..

We are good people! Good things should be happening right?

  • oh man, I really hope things work out (smoothly) for you!!  What field is your DH in?

  • He does not have a degree or anything, but he has done anything from retail, to baking, to security (almost 7 years with one company).

He has applied to a good 200 jobs since we moved here in Aug, and has had NOTHING. Safeway let him go after 3 weeks, because they hired too many people... that was SUCH a good job for him. We only have one car, so the overnights were perfect.

  • How completely frustrating!!  Hopefully the economy is picking up and he can find something soon!

  • FWIW, you can breastfeed if you work.  It's tough, but thousands of women do it.

Good luck, I hope you find something soon.  Have you tried a temp agency?
