Charlie fell down the stairs last night. Not just slid down a step or two, but head over freaking heels tumbled down the steps. I was right behind him, and I just kept reaching out to grab him but every time I got close he just tumbled down another step. Thankfully, husband C ran over from the kitchen and stopped him before he hit the floor. It all happened so fast, but it really was one of those moments when everything is in slow motion and you can't do anything to stop it.
He goes up and down the stairs multiple times a day, I'm not exactly sure what happened. Poor thing was completely shaken up.

I can't imagine! So who was shaken up more, Charlie? or you?
That would have scared the bejeezus out of me. Justin walks down the stairs in front of me every day while I'm carrying Tyler and I'm always afraid I will bump into him and knock him down the stairs.
I'm sure Charlie was traumatized and I know you had to have been, too. It's so scary when stuff like that happens. I'm glad he is OK but I bet it took a while for him to calm down.

Poor Charlie. That's scary. Thankfully somebody was home to spot him at the end.
Oh my goodness. As you know, this is one of my "things." I see it play out in my head all.the.time. Scares the crap out of me.
I'm glad C is okay!
