Anyone have a reasonably priced seamstress rec? We live in Walton and I work in Covington, and I don't want to drive to Ohio for Pauline Miller(who I usually go to). I have a bridesmaid dress to be altered before an April 2 wedding. Thanks ladies.
I take my normal alterations to Rip N Stitch on Mall Road. I have never had any formal wear altered there, but I have seen formal dresses in there when I've dropped clothes off or picked it up.
I've had a formal dress altered at a place I can't remember the name of in Fort Mitchell, but I think I paid a lot more than I should have and I seem to remember someone else on here having an issue with them.
ETA: I thought I had the name of the right place but I was wrong. I can't remember the name.
Oh I do! Alterations by Frances-- she is in Ft.Thomas on N Ft.Thomas Avenue & Highlands (I think?) and she is awesome and really cheap! She did all the alterations on my wedding dress (reinforced straps, added cups, added a 5 point bustle, and took it in at the waist) all for only like $50! I've taken other stuff to her since and I've had quite a few friends take bridesmaid dresses and wedding dresses too her. She is really fast too (my wedding dress was done in like 4-5 days! Her number is (859) 442-7397

It was Sew Uniue in Ft. Mitchel. I had an issue with them, but not sure if you were talking about me. I was in a wedding on a Saturday. Called them on Wednesday out of the blue to see how late they were open. They said that Wednesday they were closing for the week. No one called me to let me that they were closing. If I didn't call them, I wouldn't have a dress for the wedding.

Yes, that is the place and it was your story I was recalling.
