Just realized something about my surprise baby shower.

I didn't really have any say in the picture taking.. or the posting of the unflattering 38 week, exhausted, uncomfortable, majorly swollen photos that got posted on facebook by my FI's aunt (who isn't even on my friends list)...

By the way lady, next time you decide to play photographer at a surprise baby shower for a woman who is 38 weeks pregnant and is clearly miserable- try not to snap a picture every time she is talking, blinking, grimacing because baby is headbutting her cervix, or making any other strange 'I'm not posing for a picture right now" faces- and then put them on facebook without asking. Thanks!

    This happened to me too! There were 5 people all taking pictures from different angles and the frustration of smiling with the same item so many times really started to show!

    Right there with you! I especially appreciated that they took the pics at a little lower angle so it looked like I had a double chin. YUCK

    I agree...One pic wasn't even my shower, it was my cousins! So we are both pregnant and big and stuffing our faces. Our eyes weren't even open. Why would someone think that would make a good picture to post online?

    Ugh, this. The person taking pics at my shower was sitting on the floor in front of me (I was in a chair). Every single pic looks like I have the biggest double chin on the planet. Thanks a lot. Stick out tongue  Fortunately, they just gave me the pics and didn't upload them anywhere!

    this happened to me too. My husband thinks i'm psychotic and vein because I untagged myself!  I told him she (his sis) is lucky I don't make her remove them from her page altogether!

    This is exactly what I was going to suggest to anyone out there going through that!!  I would definitely untag myself if someone else posted ugly pics of me!!!

    OH this happened at my work shower.  This woman I work with kept taking pics of me stuffing my face with food and then pics of my looking down accentuating my double chin.  I kept asking her not to take so many damned photos (cause it was really annoying after a while) but she did.  Thankfully she didn't post them on FB but they were passed around the office.  So annoying!
