were you bruised at the site of the needle and sore for a few days after. My friend had one done last Wed. and is bruised and still sore to the touch...she asked me to post and see what you ladies said. Thanks!!
I had a little bruise, but i bruise WAY easier then I ever did before i got pregnant.
Even when i do a blood sugar test I bruise now, and that's just a pin prick to the finger.
It's probably a similar situation. You can have some uterine cramping, which is why they give you a script for medication to help relieve it if you get it... but I never had to take any of the pills.
Not really bruised, but you can see where the needle went in. Was a tiny bit sore (and very cautious) for a couple of days, but fine other then that. I didn't touch the area around the hole because my doctor told me to stop rubbing my belly (when she saw me doing it after amnio). Hope your friend is well.
