Day 2 Injectables FAIL!

So today was day 2 of menopur and follistim injectables.  The first time I did it in my RE's office with the help of the nurse.  Tonight, I tried to do it on my own.  I have no problem with the follistim, but the menopur was a mess.  I messed up mixing it and wound up wasting an entire vial.  :(   What's wrong with me???!!??
Me: 27, DH: 28 TTC since 11/09
2/10 & 3/10 Clomid 50mg-BFN
5/10-Lap Surgery for Stage 2 Endo
3/11-IUI#1 with Follistim and Menopur-developed mild OHSS= BFN
6/11-IUI#2 with Follistim -developed moderate OHSS= BFN!
7/11-FSH-11, AMH 1.6
9/11-ttc naturally with positive thoughts :)
10/6/11-POSITIVE pregnancy test!!! 15dpo BETA-220
6/14/2012- Riley Harper arrived!! We love our little girl

    Do you have q caps? They help.a lot. Good luck. You'll get the hang of it!

    I used the Q cap, but I used it wrong.  I put the Q cap on first, and then stuck the giant needle into the Q cap that was already on the bottle.  I'm crazy.  Then I realized that I'm supposed to take the giant needle off and put the Q cap on.  The world needs to know what women go through to have a baby when IF creeps in.  :(

    Sorry you wasted the meds!  Glad to hear the follistim was easy. That's what I will be starting with on Friday. The menopur sounds difficult.

    At first, I just used the giant needle, and then I realized that there is no way I can stick that into myself! 

    McIrish, the follistim is easy and it doesn't hurt, I promise.  I'm a big needle baby.  I still need someone to go with me to take blood. Good luck!
