ACTUALLY there ARE NOT 363 days till my child's first birthday and I DON'T belong in the 0-3 month board and need the new mommy survival guide seeing as how I CAN'T SEEM TO HAVE A BABY!!! How about you make a past your due date survival guide? Witty responses for the same stupid questions your co-workers keep harassing you with, how to shut off your phone to avoid the barrage of texts, voicemails, and facebook alerts, and HOW TO GET THIS FREAKIN KID OUT! I can't even imagine this for up to another 12 days...

    ps. have you seen the latest Jim Tressel news?  How on earth does UM get penalized for 20 minutes of extra practice time when Tressel knew what he knew, and DID. NOTHING. and gets basically no punishment?  UGH. 

    Baby Boy Born 3.15.11. 8lb 9oz, 21.75in. 6 month stats: 20lb 11oz (92%tile), 30.12in.(100%tile - who knew it went over 99th? Which means 100% of other 6 month olds are shorter than mine!)

    UM always gets the harsh punishment. It's like they try to make an example out of our University.

    So does that mean that your practice doesn't induce until 42 weeks?? I didn't see my doctor at my 39 week appointment because his schedule was too booked, so I saw a midwife and I asked her when the practice would induce, and she said 42. I was a little surprised, after reading everything on here from women who scheduled an induction at 39, 40, or 41.

    I totally agree that we always get the 'tough love' undeservingly! Yet another frustration lol.

    Yeah my practice is very "live and let bake" they didn't say anything about inductions at my appt on 3/3 at 39w3d which is good to me because I REALLY don't want to be induced.

    I have an appointment tomorrow at 40w3d and I'll see what they say. I might ask if they can strip my membranes tomorrow or at the 41w3d appt 3/17. I lost my MP Sunday the 6th and was only dilated 1cm 50% effaced the 3rd and haven't had ANY contractions or discomfort at all which makes me think labor is no where in sight X(

    Good luck!  

    PP, I think many of the people who are being induced at 39 and 40 weeks have medical reasons.  Originally, my doctor wasn't going to induce me until March 14th... but things changed.
