car seat ?
So our infant carrier/car seat has a height limit of 30 inches. E is already 27 1/4 inches long so I want to start researching the next car seat.
BUT I don't even know what we go to next....can someone tell me???
And any recs for brands are appreciated as well! Thanks!

Next, you'll want some sort of convertible. Everyone has their favorite. We have the Britax Marathon. It will rear face up to 35 lbs (assuming they don't outgrow RF by height before then). Newer seats have higher weight limits for rear facing. We will keep Tracey rear facing until she reaches the limits of her seat.

A convertable seat. We have 2 Britax Marathons and 2 Sunshine Kids Radian 65 seats. We like the Radian seats better, especially with 2 of them in the car. They aren't as bulky and don't seem as hot in the winter. If you ask Luca he will say he likes "mommy seat" better.
Both our kids are forward facing. They just don't fit any other way since we have 2 and so they can't be in the middle.
We had to switch Cooper to the conv car seat at 7 months because of height - I went to move the shoulder straps up and realized I couldn't.
In my car, we did the Britax Roundabout 50. For DHs truck we did the Evenflo Symphony. It is actually a little more expensive than the Britax I got, but I like it better. In hindsight, I would have bought two of those. It is super comfy, has extra head support for when they are younger and will then be a booster seat for up to 100lbs.
