La-a is a real name, one of the teachers I work with had one in her class at her old school. It's pronounced Ladasha.

actually they do have an older daughter but her name is Neveah... like heaven spelled backward! they are just so creative, I should have asked them to name my kids!

OMG I thought you were kidding at first. I think the spelling is horrible for one...those kids are gonna get picked on. And whats with the rythming? Definitely not cool. Also what's with making up weird names?

I'm late to the party, but wanted to add my 2 cents. As a traveling nurse that has lived & worked in many states over the last 5 years....this lemongello/orangello/la-a epidemic has been everywhere!! And each time I hear somebody claim to know somebody else who knows a kid with one of these names....I roll my eyes. I truly believe it's an urban myth!!
