Anxiously waiting...

An end is now in sight!  If our baby doesn't make an appearance this week, we will go in Sunday night for induction on Monday morning.  My doctor was comfortable getting it on the calendar, although chances are very good the baby will come sooner on his/her own terms.   

So... sometime between now and March 14th, we will get to meet our son or daughter!!!  Very excited!!!

    do they always induce in the morning?  i'm afraid i will be too because we have the same due date and i'm 2cm and 80% and nothing else has happened.  i go to doc tomorrow so i'm sure we will discuss the same thing.  I would rather induce in the afternoon/evening but that's just me

    My OB recommends we come in late in the evening (by 10 pm), they will insert a vaginal suppository with a cervical ripening agent and then we sleep there.  In the morning they will see how far my cervix has come and then start an oxytocin drip.  Probably won't be the best night of sleep I've ever had, but it may reduce the need for oxytocin.

    Good Luck. i'm still hoping mine will come by itself but she is just so comfy right now, i doubt it sometimes
