Baby Emerson Michael is here!

Baby Emerson arrived Sunday March 6th at 436pm! He was 8 ibs 8 oz and 20.75 inches long! I am doing well and baby is great! Birth story to follow--we just got home from hospital and have a lot of company but lets just say that the labor was super quick once I got an epidural and pushing was a breeze! But the day was a little crazy before when we got sent home with "false labor" but I somehow knew that something had to be done so I went back in.  5 hours later our son arrived with only 20 min of pushing and a 1st degree tear (only a few stitches).

 

It is great to be a new mom but is a bit of a hard adjustment with the lack of sleep, problems with breastfeeding and latching and hormones that are all over the place. Picture coming soon.
