Thermostat at night

What temperature to you keep the thermostat at night?  And what type of PJs do you dress your LO in (i.e. fleece, sleep sack, socks, etc)?

I run a humidifier close to baby's crib and he has been waking up a lot at night.  I'm starting to think he is cold (his cheeks and fingers are a bit cool). TIA!

Re: Thermostat at night

  • 70/71 degrees, DS wears footed PJs and has a blanket.

I'd move the humidifier so it's not right by your LO's crib as it does cool a room and it sounds like he's cold.   When I have a humidifier in my room I notice how cool it can get.

  • our condo is 68 at night, 71 during the day.  His room is the warmest in the condo, though, i'm sure it's higher than 68 in there!  LO sleeps in long sleeve or footed pjs with a sleep sack over, or fleece footed pjs alone.  and he DEFINITELY woke up a lot when he was cold.

  • 72* (though it's warmer in her room) and footed pj's.  No blankets or anything.  She's never sweaty and never feels cool, even when I run the humidifier (across the room from her crib).
  • Thermostat is set at 68 at night.  DS sleeps in a cotton footed sleeper and fleece sleep sack.

  • 66/67 at night. She generally wears fleece two piece jammies with thick socks or fleece footie pajamas, and she keeps about half a dozen blankets in her bed (her choice!).
