My DD is very attached to me and gets very upset when I put her down. She often even naps on me. I am having a really hard time finding time to pump during the day. DD (probably) has acid reflux so I spend a lot of time dealing with burping her and her spitting up. Early on when I pumped I would get 3oz, but we've gone through all of that and now it's about a half ounce.
Is anyone else going through this?
I'm afraid I won't be able to feed my daughter when I go back to work.
Re: What to do with LO while pumping?
I EP and while I pump (if DD is not napping), I put her in her bouncer next to my feet so that she can see me. She fusses sometimes but I just try to comfort her as much as possible without stopping. GL!
When I was home on Maternity Leave the only time I could find to pump was early in the morning (like 5am) during her night long sleeping stretch. During the day she was just feeding too frequently to fit a pumping session in between.
When you go back to work you should be fine as long as you pump about every 4hrs. In the beginning I was pumping so much at work that half of it went into my freezer stash. Now that she's older she pretty much eats everything I pump so each day she uses the milk from the day before.
