Anyone w/ Irish Twins?

I am 10 wks w/ #3.  I will have my 2 kids 14 mos apart....I always thought Irish Twins were born within the same year.  I will have a not even 4 yr old so it's going to be crazy.

  • Yep, 11 months apart. DC 3 will be 21 months younger than my youngest, and 32 younger than my oldest. It can be crazy, but I promise you'll make it!

  • yes...it's very interesting too!
  • I don't have Irish twins but I almost did...mine are 13 months apart.  It's definitely crazy but totally worth it and a lot easier than I thought it would be.

    Good luck!

  • Mine are 13 months apart.  I was terrified at first, but it's actually not been too bad.  It was an adjustment in the beginning, and it was difficult, I won't lie, but as I got more used to it, it got easier.  Now they play together and it's so cute!

  • I always thought Irish twins were 12 months or less apart.  DD and DS are 14 months apart and I love it.  DS is a very easy baby so I think that helps.  Good luck!

  • Mine are 1 year and 8 days apart, so close.  I wish you well, my boys are crazy.
