Implanon birth control after baby

I just had a 2 week postpartum appointment today and my provider recommended IMPLANON etonogestrel implant for birth control. Anyone use this or used in the past? Do you like it, hate it, would you recommend it? Thanks!!!

    I used this and loved it.  I didn't have any of the negative side effects, unless you count a lack of a period as a negative!   

    It was odd feeling the implant in your arm and occasionally while lifting heavy objects it would bother me.
