formula stains

how do you get formula stains out of clothing? dd wears clothes that were mine (from the 80's) and she dribbled formula on them.

and while on the stain subject: how do you get poop stains out?

    Baby Oxy Clean - I soak really bad ones, otherwise I just put it in the wash...works wonders and it's dye free :)

     Yes

    Worked magic on 5 year old formula stains from hand me down newborn clothes I received.  Although I didn't buy the perfume and dye free (did see it at Target though). I just made sure that I washed it all after letting it sit.

    Also, I have heard that the sun helps bleach poop stains too but I have only heard that for cloth diapers but I would think, being cloth, it would work for a lot other clothing.

    Sunning will work on the poop stains if it's a cotton type fabric, like in sleepers, onesies etc. I didn't believe it but it worked, you wash the clothing, then leave it damp in the sunlight (even in a sunny window if you can't put it outside) for a few hours and it starts to come out, the longer you can leave it the better it will be at getting rid of the stain.
