1st b.day time poll

I can't remember what time we had M's party.

What did you do or would work best for your schedule?

Re: 1st b.day time poll

  • I voted for what time works best for my DD who still takes 2 naps, 12-2. If there are going to be a lot of kids there, I might consider what time would work best for the majority so there aren't a bunch of sleepy kids trying to have fun. It seems like most 1+ year olds only take one nap and it's usually after lunch, so if there are lots of kids coming, maybe 1-3 would be better.

We did Ella's at 11:30, but there were only 2 other little kids who we invited.

I think your monkey polka dot theme is going to be super cute too! You better show us some pictures!!! :)

Oh, that might be better idea. He will either nap morning or after lunch depending on our day. But some friends kiddos do 11-12 naps since they are alittle older.  I'll have to think about that.

I think that is the time we did for Jillian's party as well.  We'll probably do Hayden's at that time also.

  • I voted for 12-2, but LIvy only takes one nap a day and usually goes down around 1 or 1:30, so we are having her party at 3.

  • Hudson's naps are still random (either 1, 2 or none depending on the day .. ) our start time is 12:30, in hopes that he'll nap before people come :)
  • I think we're gonna do 3-5 or 4-6, so it won't interfere with anyones naps. Since it's in the Springtime and it's light out later in the day, I think late afternoon doesn't feel as "late" as it does in the wintertime.

  • Can I say Neither?  We start Willow's naptime routine at 12 and then she falls asleep at 1 then she sleeps til 3/3:30.

I'd say morning time is best (especially if everyone has little kids, I mean those kids wake up at the butt crack of dawn, and as parents we are LOOKING for things to occupy them each morning.)

  • I voted 12-2 but really it's a crapshoot. I think dinner is better. 4-6 maybe? I know we did later. More like 5-7. But we didn't have a lot of little kids and my kids stay up late anyway.
