Strep question

Can you have strep throat with no fever? I feel like I have swallowed shards of glass, my throat is red and streaky with some white patches. I'm a little nauseous but no fever at all. Would you go to the doc for a strep test or try and wait it out? Like I have any time for my own drs appointments...

i would go to dr. i used to get strep all the time. i don't remember always having a fever...

I usually have a fever and vomitting and my throat doesn't really hurt that bad with strep. I would still go to the Dr though. It is different for everyone and there are so many strains that the symptoms could be different each time. Feel better!
