Thoughts on this outfit...is it too much?

I found this cute outfit do you think it is too much for in the hospital?  I would take a onesie with feet to bring her home it will probably still be chilly here in Ohio when she arrives. Honest thoughts and opinions needed.  TIA!!

  • Too cute! It's too much for the hospital, but for pics it would be adorable!

  • Very cute, but you will probably need something for her feet.

  • I am not a flowery kind of person but I love it..maybe it's b/c everything I see girl right now I love b/c I was hoping for a girl this time lol. I keep saying I am gonna have a 3rd and try for my girl but after this pregnancy and all the miserableness I am having right now, this might not be happening lol. ( I sad that after DS too and look at me now! )

This. I had an outfit picked out for DS (one boy and one girl outfit we didn't know what we were having). As soon as I brought him home I changed him into something more comfortable. So this time I am going with cotton pants and onesie  and the yellow knitted sweater and hat I had for DS.

Its super cute.  I never dressed my girls at the hospital, I only bought the going home outfit and put it on before we left.  Just used what the hospital had put on them.

  • Personally I think it's too much- one or the other flower would have done, both is overwhelming. And I think it's too fancy for the hospital. If you love it I'd save it for photos. :)

    LMAO. I totally agree.

I also wouldn't spend $50 on an outfit for them to take a car ride in. But that's just me.

  • I love it!!!

  • Jeez, some of you girls are harsh! Every body has their own style though, and you did ask for honest opinions!

     But anyways,here's mine.

I absolutely love that. I think it's completely adorable! But I would save it for newborn pictures, not the hospital the hospital is ucky and I'll be changing lo as soon as we get home anyways!

  • Honestly I think it is a bit much but really girly stuff is nms so that might be why.

I would agree with this. But it's your baby and your pictures. I think that doing it at the hospital is way too much, but if you love it, use it for newborn photos. Also, in our hospital they make the baby stay in their little wraparound shirts and a diaper for easy access. You can change them for the in-hospital pictures if you want, but otherwise, they stay in that until they leave.

  • I'd be more concerned about strapping her in the car seat with a bottom half that's more like a skirt. It is likely to ride up with the stap and leave her legs out and cold. Just a thought.

  • Cute but I don't think it will be easy to put her in the carseat with it.

ETA: Apparently my brain doesn't work anymore. I think that it's way too much for the hospital, and way more money than I'd spend on an outfit for a newborn period.

  • It's cute, but not safe for the car ride home (the carseat chest bar should be right at the level of that huge enormous flower, so she wouldn't be snugly secured). Definitely a no for her first going-home outfit.
  • NMS.  Too expensive for a newborn IMO.... also, I would be thinking more about warmth and comfort than getting baby dressed up.  Doesn't seem practical for the drive home.

  • It's kinda cute..without the flower hat.

But not for the hospital and ride home...if you love it save it for the newborn pictures.  Go for comfort.

  • Obviously people's tastes vary - I'd use something like that for a photo shoot, but that's about it. Big Smile Love the color though and something like a gown is a great idea. I love using those the first couple weeks.
