  I go to Northwestern. I have never been to Loyola. I love Northwestern's OBGYN department. They have 11 doctors on staff so you are always guaranteed to see someone. They also have a brand new women's hospital that just opened up that is state of the art. That is where they deliver all the babies. It is called Prentice Women's Hospital. I recommend Northwestern. Hope this helps!

  I think that objectively Northwestern is considered a better hospital (i.e. US News rankings and the like) but I'm not sure and I know that can vary by speciality. We wanted to go with Northwestern because of their top-notch NICU, and because it is the closest to our home.

  I prefer Northwestern, and that's where I'm going.

  I was high risk and at Loyola because it is closer to my house.  The staff was wonderful, and as for NICU, they have one of the world's best Dr.'s on staff.  The only issue is that they do not have private rooms, but I had my own in Aug. and so did everyone else.
