I'm thinking about making the switch to CDs and was wondering if there is a CD store in the twin cities? Any ideas on where I can go to touch/feel/learn what all the options are?

Peapods in St. Paul is a great cloth diaper store; they also sell fuzzibunz at Pacifier. There's also a co-op (the one that used to be in Linden Hills) that sells some.
I was thinking about using cloth diapers while pregnant and my midwife gave me a bunch to try. Jillian's Drawers (online store) sells used ones if you don't want to spend a ton to try different kinds. Hope you find some that work for you.

Research, trial, and error. If you talk to the ladies who cloth diaper all the time, you will notice that there is a trend that they have one type of diaper that they like and have a majority of, and then they have a few randoms sprinkled in to make a full stash. The beauty of cloth diapers is that you are able to sell them if you realize that a certain style doesn't work as well for you. We, like Carrie (Adamswife) use cloth at home and at daycare, and use disposables when out for a longer period of time.
Let me know what you think of the store in Blaine. I am a north metro girl as well and have not made it over there yet, so I would love to get your opinion.

We cloth diaper. What worked best for us is I bought ones to try at peapods and pacifier, and then when I found what I liked we ordered online.
We LOVE LOVE LOVE fuzzibunz.
My stash is a combination of new from Peapods (they sell Kissaluv fitteds, Thirstie covers, Bummis covers, Fuzzibunz, BumGenius and Flip. And some wool covers.), used from friends, used from other Bump moms and new from an online vendor.
My favorites are BumGenius AIOs (all in ones), which they actually don't even make anymore. Which stinks!
My second favorite would be BumGenius 4.0s. We really like BGs.
I also just tried a new diaper called a DinkleDooz, which I am going to get a few more of.
