Seems like I need a "How to Change Siggy" refresher course anyone care to help?

because everytime I try to update it, I get a bunch of errors. Here is what i am doing:
1)Find my picture on Snapfish (Shutterfly makes the pics blurry, but Snapfish is okay)
2) Right click on the pic and copy "properties"
3) Go to TinyUrl and paste my properties and get a tiny url.
4) Go into my Nest profile and go to "Change Avatar"
5) Then i go to where the code is for my present siggy. <img src="https://tinyurlcode" height=250>
6) Hit "save signature".
I've done it that way for almost 2 yrs and it's been fine. But we all know the Bump likes to annoy us and change things. So is there another way I can change my siggy? Like a new way?

Are you using firefox or internet explorer? If you are using firefox, you'd right click & "copy image url" & for internet explorer, you have to go to properties & then it has the url in the properties pop up. You would copy that only & then paste that into tinyurl. Here is the code I have for the pic in my siggy:
<img src="https://tinyurl.com/YOUR TINY URL HERE" height=300"><br>
You have to make sure to put the <br> now b/c otherwise it makes everything off center. Urgg to TB & their constant "updates"! HTH

It is a known issue. Right now, pretty much no one can change their sig. The suggestions is to try changing it from the nest or knot, but that made no difference for me.
This is why I still have a holiday sig!
Okay guess I'll leave it for now and hopefully by the time DD is born,I can update it to add her.
It has something to do with the new "rules" for siggys, I had to take out my picture with a link in it.
It will let you keep what you have, but you can't add something and still have a "link" in a siggy (from my experience)GL!!
But their own tickers are links??? So like my blog is linked in the pic in my siggy, if I take out that link, I can update it? That blows. I like having my blog linked, I work hard on it!
Yeah... the only way I could change it was to remove the "clicky" from my picture that lead to a blog : /
When I only added a Photobucket pic, and TB tickers it worked.
