BH Contractions vs Baby movement

Hi all,

  I just found out that what I thought was the baby is actually Braxton Hicks contractions. I had no idea! I don't feel as much baby movement as in the past, and now I'm second guessing myself whether it's a contraction or movement. I heard the HB yesterday and am going back to the dr tomorrow. Should I worry?? I'm sure I'm overanalyzing everything, but I feel like when I try to "lay" and count after eating, it just makes me more nervous...Anyone else experience this?

    I also found that out 2 days before I went into labor.  You will feel less movement towards the end because lo has no room.  

    I wouldn't worry!

    I find it difficult to distinguish BH and baby's movement sometimes too. BH used to feel different when my ute was smaller. But most times baby's movements lately are so jabby and dramatic that I know he's moving enough!

    I was just thinking about this earlier.  I couldn't figure out if I was feeling BH or baby movement.  I felt so dumb to not be able to tell the difference.  I'm glad I'm not the only one getting confused.

    I'm sure it's fine! Does your stomach move? Mine does even when my LO hiccups, so I can not only feel him but see him, which makes it a little easier.

    My stomach is hard alot... so I was just saying that to my husband... its hard to tell what a BH is and what is babys bum or back sticking out... Cause I feel like Im not getting any BH and just a whole lot of baby... Maybe Im wrong...

    i find that baby movement is a bit more localized, while contractions are a hardening across my whole belly and baby moves more when my stomach is "soft"

    this . my whole stomach gets completely hard when  I have BH and its only hard in one or two spots when lo is shoving his butt or back against my stomach

    I am having a hard time distinguishing as well!  I feel way more BH then I do baby moving.  My doctor said as long as I feel baby a couple of times in the day, I'm good.

    Thanks for all your help guys! I was becoming crazy trying to feel the baby kick, so it makes me feel better that I'm not the only one...I heard the HB yesterday, but I still can't stop worrying that what I feel is not typical!
