I have the Summer Infant Day/Night handheld video monitor (is this just old school now?). I know it was recalled because there are cords which people left dangling within grasp of their babies. I thought they were just going to slap a sticker on the cord warning people not to leave the cord accessible to babies. Well, Amazon has taken them down off their site. BRU has it, but jacked up the price for an extra camera. Are they going to stop making these? I wanted to buy an extra camera, but now I'm wondering if I have to shell out another couple hundred dollars for a new system (2 cameras plus a monitor). Grrr. Note: I can't shell out another couple hundred dollars for a new system.
I've looked around at other video monitors, but have seen mixed reviews.
Anybody know what the deal is? Or is there another, far superior video baby monitor out there?
I may or may not be thinking about this a little too much.
Does anyone have the latest Baby Bargains - what do they recommend for video monitors??
Re: What's the deal?
I have the anaglog camera if you want to buy it from me. Where do you live, we could meet up. I'll sell it to you for way less than BRU or even the Day and night site.
PM me and we can exchange info.
Do you have any info on the recall, that is the monitor we have and I hadn't seen anything.

This isn't a link. I'm not selling just helping a friend.
