We are looking to get our dining room, kitchen, living room, downstairs hallway, foyer and upstairs hallway painted. We got a quote of $1800 including the paint and all the work. I'm just wondering if this seems appropriate/high/a steal...I don't know. I have absolutely no clue as we have never had this done before.
Re: Anyone had interior painting done recently?
I need this guy's info...we need some more painting done and DH is just too sloppy. TIA
This seems REALLY high. I have a great guy, he just did the ceilings and crown molding for 3 rooms, plus our entire dining room including all trim, plus refinished/repainted our kitchen cabinets for $500 total, not including the cost of paint. He did a client's house that was 8 rooms, including all ceilings and a TON of trim work (it is a 1920's crafstman so has a bunch of intricate trim) for $1500. He has done work for a bunch of clients in the past (interior and exterior paint, as well as a bunch of carpentry and basic handyman stuff) and does a really great job and is by far the cheapest I have found. LMK if you would like his contact info.
I am interested in names/numbers for paint work too- kleephish@aol.com
Thanks!!
that is really high. I have a great painter and is a husband and wife team. Use him for inside and out and also other family members use him.
He will come and give you a quote.
