Judgey McJudgerson

I was at Target over the weekend and saw a guy pull up on a motorcycle with his small child (6-9 years-old) on the back. Here's the kicker...she wasn't wearing a helmet! Are children even allowed on motorcycles, let alone without a helmet?

It's been a few days and this is still really bothering me. I feel like I should have reported it or something, but I couldn't see the license plate #.

  • They are allowed on the bike, but 17 and younger must wear a helmet!

  • I would have had a very hard time not saying something. I am anti-motorcycles for my own personal reasons, but to have a child on one and without a helmet is just ignorant.

  • When I worked in daycare we had a parent that would occasionally maybe once or twice a year come and pick up his preschool son aged 4/5 on his motorcycle but he always had his helmet.  Both mom and dad were riders so it was natural for them but personally I wouldn't.
