    I have always had a key to my parents house.  They live right smack in the middle of town and I stop there sometimes for lunch, to use the bathroom, etc.

    No key, but I do have a copy of the swipey card (gated community).  They only lock their doors when they go on vacation.

    No, but they both have hidden keys outside their houses. That is if it is even locked at all...we live in very small towns

    I've always had a key to my moms.  Me and my dad have a rocky relationship and I can't stand his B of a wife, so I don't even go over there, let alone need a key.

    I have keys to both my mother's and MIL's houses.  Both mine and DH's dads died awhile ago.

    I moved in with my parents for 6 months after graduating college. Since they havent changed the locks since that time, I still have their key on my key ring.

    We have a key to MIL's house because we house sit for her when she goes on vacation.  I have a garage door opener for my mom's house but I don't usually go there unless she is there.  It has come in handy though, sometimes she is running late so I hang out until she gets there.

    I do but it was my key from when I lived there. I moved home after undergrad while I was in grad school and never gave it back. Then again they have a key to my house too.

    I picked neither, but they live in the country and never lock up unless going out overnight.
