Me!!!
I've been having contractions for the past 24 hours. Dr confirmed that I'm progressing and in labor. Trying to stay relaxed and keep living my life until things progress more. He stripped my membranes today and ever since I've been having spotting and lots of goopy stuff.
The only bad news is that apparently they didn't check to see if VBA2C were allowed at their hospital and they are currently illegal under hospital policy. Trying not to worry. Dr is working on getting mine allowed as we speak. He is bringing up the new ACOG guide lines and hinted that I should show up at the hospital in very active labor (8-9 cm). Fortunately I have hired a doula, so we should be able to stay at home and not worry with her support.
Please cross your fingers for a healthy and safe birth for me!
Re: Guess who's in early labor???
Awesome! I was just reading your previous post. And I really think they have done the whole bait & switch - esp. now with the not checking to see if VBAC2 is allowed in the hospital. I would seriously labor at home for as long as possible, waiting until the last minute. They CANNOT force you into a c/s and they cannot turn you away. I might even get a room at the closest hotel nearby if you live a ways from the hospital.
Good luck!!
