Where do you start? I'm going to start in the nursery and wipe down baseboards, shelves and ceiling fan (OMG its crazy dusty)
What are your essential tools when cleaning? I must have a big deep bucket for soapy water, all new cheapie sponges for wiping. This year I plan to add Mr. Clean Eraser. I keep hearing that thing is amazing.
How do you clean your stove top burners? Mine are very dirty and black underneath with residue from spills. I'm ashamed to admit I have no idea how to clean these. Any tips?
Re: lets talk spring cleaning
Here's a little checklist I'm using to get started (and will add my own to it)

Yeah I think I can remove the burner part too. I've been scared to do so. I don't want to break them. But I will never learn if I don't try right? Thank you!
Thanks!
It's all very stunk on. Thanks for the tip! Do you ever procrastinate something so much that it eventually has turned into this big chore? That's what has happened to my stove top. It gets wiped down every night but not the burners.
Do you mean the actual elements or the drip tray things?
For the elements I use soap and water and barkeepers friend.
For the drip trays I fill up the sink with hot soapy water and let them soak overnight. Adding a dryer sheet to teh soaking stuff can help loosen really burnt on residue. And if all else fails, the drip trays are cheap to replace. At walmart the ones that fit my stove are 15 for the set of 4.
