I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for sending thoughts and prayers our way in the days since Cora's birth.
We are doing pretty well, learning what
life is like with a baby in the NICU. I was discharged from the hospital
yesterday so today I started commuting back and forth from home to
spend my days with Cora.
Cora is doing great. She is breathing room air and learning to eat.
Every day the doctors increase her breastmilk intake and so far she has
tolerated it very well. We are hoping to see her gain weight and grow
very soon. Everyone on her medical team is impressed with her progress
which is wonderful news to us. She is very alert and has a strong grip
with her tiny fingers. Best of all, I get to hold her for several hours
every day-great therapy for both of us!
I hope all of you are doing well--we are sending you all thoughts for long healthy pregnancies.
Re: Thanks and an update
I am so glad to hear good news!!!
Cora is kicking butt!!! I'm sending lots of prayers that she keeps up the progress. Also praying that Mommy and Daddy stay strong, right along with her.
So glad things are going well!! Still sending lots of T&P's to you and your family and hoping that baby Cora will be able to come home soon.
