We took our DD to Kiddie Kandids for her 3 month pics but did have a great experience and was not thrilled with the results. It's time for 6 month pics and we are going to try Portrait Innovations. My SIL uses them all the time and seems to have good results. Where do you take your babies for their milestone pics?

For Lucas Newborn I used Amanda Williams. I liked her but she changed her scheduling and she moved so the travel fees were high for how far she would have had to travel, but we loved her pics and the disc was included.
For his 3 month I used JCPenny. They were okay, cant do much with a 3 month old. You did have to wait for them, which stunk. When they came in some were scratched. The girl did make up for it and give me the extras for free and let me pic a new pose to reorder the sizes that were scratched, but I had to re-wait for those. They are okay for the package they offer.
For his baptism and 9 month I used Portrait Innovations. I liked that you got the prints right away. For a quick stop shop they are ok and the quality is good. They take like 40 pics or so in differnt poses and you pick. We just got the package for both times we went which was all we needed and was more than enough for us to pass around.
For his Year pic I used Amy from Pure Amour. The pics turned out great! And I like that you get the disc and printing rights. She also travels to your home.
Mommy's little helper
We're used Portrait Innovations a number of times and have always been happy. For a studio, I think they do a good job and the price is pretty reasonable. I love that you leave with your pictures.
We have also use independant photographers for milestone pictures. I've used Robert Bruce, Amanda Williams and Emily Dowd. They are great for a more unique picture than you get with a studio. Many photographers will come to you, so you get more variety with your setting. The only downside is the editing time. With both Amanda and Emily, I waited a full month to get my pictures. With milestone pictures, a month is a long time. Like with Nathan's newborn pictures- by the time I got those, I already had newer pictures of him hanging.
