I'm looking for ideas for my friend's wedding.
I'm learning how to knit and sew so I can't do anything complex but I thought I could at least knit up some dishcloths hopefully by that time (shower is Apri 9 and wedding May 21).
What do you enjoy making for these occasions?
Re: What handmade gifts for weddings/showers do you like to make?
I was thinking the other day that a nice gift would be some hand crochet/knit dish rags with a really pretty squirt bottle full of homemade counter spray. I would include a pretty tag with the recipe on it. Put them in a pretty basket with a vintage table cloth or homemade apron (or tea towel) as the lining.
I could also see finding a vintage crystal sugar shaker full of a pan/counter scrub. I use salt, baking soda, and a tiny bit of borax for mine. It is great for stuck on grime.
apron, dishcloths, hot plates (you could get some herbs/cinnamon and sew them in between fabric with some batting),
