would you eat this?

Brats with blue cheese inside. Obviously we're from Wisconsin :) I had been told no blue cheese because of the mold but if it's cooked would it be okay? I was going to pull them out for dinner, but then I starting thinking about it and I'm on the fence.

  • I personally wouldn't risk it.

  • You can eat any type of cheese as long as it is pasteurized. Just check the label for pasteurized milk. No need to give up blue, Brie, goat, or any other cheeses. I love cheese. Get a nice Danish blue and drizzle honey on top...That was m pregnancy craving, YUM.

  • I think most cheese made in the US is pastruized so you should be fine. A lot of imported cheeses are not, so sometimes cheese in restaurants or speciality cheeses are the issue. I'd eat it.

I work for a Danish Dairy company (Arla Foods) and love this comment!  Yes, do for the pasteurised cheese.  I am surprised no one has commented on eating the brat.  I would eat it, no worries, but some are told to avoid deli meat and hotdogs.
