Hi all!!!

I haven't been on for a bit because we've had a lot going on! I just wanted to write quickly and ask for thoughts and prayers...Last Saturday my nephew was born...then three hours later was put into the NICU then the next day taken to the local children's hospital. There he was diagnosed with HLHS which is a complex heart defect. Then last Thursday underwent the first of 3 open heart surgeries. He is still in the CICU...however today got his feeding and breathing tube out...(yay!)(this is the nutshell version--I apologize!)

But anyway--I just wanted to ask for thoughts and prayers for my brother, SIL, and his family (they also have a little girl).

My family has definitely been there. NICU, Surgery, Feeding tubes, etc. We will be thinking of your sweet nephew... please post updates!! Can't wait to hear he's coming home healthy!!
