If you use baskets for sorting clothes or other items, do you use any sort of tags to label what's in the basket? I would like to label some or all of our baskets for the nursery. I've been browsing through Etsy, but I'm not sure what I want, and also considering just DIY-ing something. Some of the items are made of just paper and I can't see that lasting very long.
If you have tags/labels for your baskets, what do you use?
Re: Label tags for sorting baskets
I dont use baskets, but i just wanted to say your nesting like crazy!!!
I have a sweater organizer in W's closet, but dont have them labeled. It's pretty odvious what each thing is, maybe not to Dh or Nanna but I know, and since I put things away it's ok. My Mom can always find what she needs from them (sheets, blankets, burp rags, mattress pad).
We don't have any labels on the baskets we use. The big green one is for clean sleepers, the little one with handles like a picnic basket is for clean onesies and the one with only one handle is for dirty clothes.
I tried to get all fancy with it, but after about two weeks DH and I were over the labelled items, so we just went with descriptions of the baskets themselves. It just worked out better for us that way.
Unable to even.

We've put a lot of baskets, in different sizes and colors, into the closet. We have duplicates of some of them, and singles of others. I'm sure I'll be ok with knowing what goes where, but my DH is terrible about putting things back where they belong. It could be he doesn't know/remember, or it could be an excuse to be lazy. If they were labeled, then DH would know, as would my parents if they help out when they're in town.
Maybe I should wait on it, anyway, since I won't know exactly what's best in each bin until we start using them.
Caldwell- Yep, I'm definitely nesting. I like to always be working on a baby project, these days. We have about 10-11 weeks left and that isn't sounding like much time. :-)
