My Step-Mom's birthday is Wed. Obviously her gift is going to be late, but I am at a total loss of what to get her. I asked my Dad for suggestions and all he could come up with was an I-tunes gift card. Really?
Anyway, she's turning mid-50's, lives in Dallas, is a teacher in an elementary gifted and talented program, likes "southwestern" decor, cats, dogs, wine and margaritas. She has 3 kids of her own plus the 3 of us. Allie is currently her only grandchild but she is gaining 3 more this summer (my brother's wife, her middle daughter, and myself are all due within 2 months of each other). We're not overly close.
Any suggestions?
Re: Gift Suggestion
A spa gift certificate? A nice picture frame (inscribed, perhaps)?
I have a half a cake you could send her...just saying.
She goes by Nana with Allie. Is this cute (obviously it would say Nana, not Mimi)?

I like it. Here are a few others, in case you don't want to go the Etsy route.
