Alright, after seeing sooo many posts about this damn Giraffe I decided to check it out...holy pricey! So I checked amazon and found some new ones for around $15.00. Still way more than I want to pay for something like that, but if it works it will be worth it. I went on everyones suggestions about the seahorse and he loves it, so now I need to know if this Sophie chick is worth it. TIA!
Re: is Sophie really worth it?
Remy loves the squeaky noise she makes. When he's upset I will give it to him and he will squeeze her till she squeaks and he smiles. So yes, I think $15 is worth the sanity for me. But it's really a child by child basis. Also it works as a great teether. He loves chewing on her leg.
It took Jane about 3 weeks to really get into Sophie, but she loves her now. I'll hold Sophie up an Jane just smiles at her.

I just ordered mine last week, They have her on the Huggies rewards site now! She costs 450 points. I'm so glad I waited and saved my points
Can't wait for S to be able to try it out.
ETA: And I'm so glad I didn't just say screw it, and get it at the store for $20.
I thought a $20 chew toy (essentially, that is what it is) was crazy. I bought it and from the second I gave it to Joel, he has loved her.
Their love affair is wicked.
