Sex! Whos havin it?

Hubby has been driving me crazy for sex. He has been all sorts of playful and trying to corner me when ever I get a moment without little one... Ive been just playing it off, because I dont want to turn him on even more.. but I am DYING to have sex with my husband! This PP wait is absolutely driving me INSANE! We havent gone this long without sex, EVER!

Anyway, How many of your are still holding out because of Drs. orders?

How many of you have said "Screw Drs orders!" and have done the deed anyway?

I had a C-Section, and I feel 100% normal... Im thinking of suprising my husband with the "green light" soon! Exp because my Doc wasnt able to schedule my 6 week PP appt until almost 7 weeks PP... I think Ill just DIE if I wait another almost 3 weeks!

We haven't had sex since she was conceived in June. The doctor showed DH what LO did to my lady bits, and all the stitches I needed, and the first thing he said was "we aren't having sex for a while..."

If it were me, I could wait 3 more weeks. I've always been one to follow Dr's orders though.

My OB office says sex can begin at 4 weeks, or even earlier, for someone who had an easy vaginal birth and is feeling completely back to normal. They expect you to be back to almost-normal activity by 2 weeks PP and I think they almost expect some people to begin having sex then as well. My OB gave me a script for BC at DD's 2 week appointment (she's my PCP/gyno/OB and DD's pedi).

We haven't had it yet but I have a feeling it will be this week. We're both getting antsy and I am no longer bleeding, haven't been for a while, and am feeling really good (I had an easy delivery). I'm doing everything I'd normally do and I'll be 4 weeks PP Wednesday so this week is looking good for it.

I'll be 2 weeks PP tomorrow and I think I may hold out just one more week at the most. This has been an insanely easy recovery: bleeding has stopped already and the teeny skidmark I got has already healed. I feel perfectly normal down there and just want to get the "ok" from the midwife.

Plus I need to go get some pills. Ugh, the IUD was sooooo much easier, but that's just not in the budget this time around...

Neither one of us could hold out anymore. I was 4 weeks PP last Monday...that was good enough for me. Despite my OB's orders, I couldn't wait anymore. It's been an amazing week! Hope doc doesn't get too upset with me when I see him in two weeks!

I had a c-section and I'll tell you, that even though I thought I was fine, inside was definitely not fine. We couldn't do it at 6 weeks because of pain, but it was much better at 7 weeks. You'll just have to see how it is for you.

So I'm prolly really bad, but we did it this week.. I just couldn't wait anylonger, and it was really good. I thought you were suppost to be in the mood after having a baby, but I was! We just took it slow, but it was wonderful! I'd go off how you are feeling (plus I had a C-section, which has healed up really well) Good luck!

We really want to, but we're waiting the 6 weeks. We're at 4 weeks right now. I thought I'd have no sex drive, but that is not the case at all! I'm definitely happy about that. I am a little worried about it hurting to have sex, so I'll be kinda nervous.

We attempted to have sex at about 4 weeks PP, and it was a big fail. We couldn't find a good position, I was surprisingly sore (I had a long labor ending in an emergency c/s), and we just weren't able to finish. We tried again after my 6 week PP checkup, and were finally successful. Granted, it was quick and very vanilla, but we made it work.

seriously? i had what i'd like to consider an 'easy' labor/delivery and at 2 weeks pp i am nowhere near considering having sex- jeezus! i suppose good for you!

I had a hard delivery which ended with an episiotomy and forceps. I am STILL spotting! I can still feel some stitches too so we are definitely waiting to see what my doctor says at 6 weeks. When he was stitching me up, he said it would take me 8 weeks to heal, so we may have another 4 to go. I still do not feel normal yet. It is getting ebtetr though, slowly.

We did it yesterday morning. Surprise

It all started because I touched DH's butt. It didn't hurt at all, I didn't feel 'dry', and although it wasn't terribly exciting it was good for both of us. With child #1, we had our first attempt at 3 wks. I was a little loose still then, so we didn't try again for another 2 wks, but it didn't hurt then either.

Not me. :-( I've definitely been in the mood, but am still bleeding and sore with stitches, so there's no way we'll be attempting anything soon. I'll probably wait until my doc gives me the go ahead at my 6 week appt. Like one of the PP, I'm also nervous it will hurt.

we did last night and OMG I've missed it. I think at 37wks we had sex, but other then that since about week 30 we were just using toys since it was too uncomfortable for me. Was not painful or uncomfortable at all. I guess the second baby will do that to you.

im a ftm and had a vaginal birth however i only waited three weeks stitches and all it was kinda akward but didnt hurt the only way you are going to know if the time is right is to try...

No sex here yet but I don't know how long I can keep DH off of me. I am waiting until at least the end of this week at my 4week pp visit. And he's not coming near me anyway without bc. With ds1 we did it at 3 weeks and I ended up bleeding for 3 months and had to get a d&c. Not sure if itwas because of the sex but we waited the 6 weeks with ds2 and I will try and hold out the same this time. I feel good and just spotting now but don't want to take chances.

No sex in this house, although not for H's lack of trying. i had only 1 stitch and delivered pretty easy but I'd rather get the ok from the doc first. H is definately counting down until my PP check up. I'm a little nervous because towards the end of the pregnancy sex was very painful for me, hopefully a glass of wine will help out.

My 6 week PP is next week(the 15th) and I can't wait to get the okay for BF and I to have sex. He has been playful too. And as much as I want to I am waiting for the go ahead from the doctor. I had a C-Section as well and feel normal. But my bleeding has been off and on so I haven't surprised him.
