Depriving Mom

So I rarely, if ever, buy chips while at the store (nothing wrong if you do, we just don't because I would eat them all if they were in the house).  While on vacation Ridge had Pringles.

Today I surprised him with Pringles.  You would of thought the kid won the lottery.  Oh my.  Now I kinda feel bad that I'm a fruit forcer for snacks/lunch.

  • I got on a Pringles kick after I had my son. I was obsessed!! I had to break myself from them, though, b/c I could just about eat an entire tube in one sitting.

  • ha!  I feel liek this with a lot of stuff!  we don't keep chips or candy in the house and we don't do treats for anything, and we don't do juice, so I get these weird stares from people all the time.....but when they do get a treat, omgoodness have I made their day!

  • Aw, you're too hard on yourself.  He wouldn't love them as much if you let him have them all the time!  (And I love Pringles, too, but only because I don't eat them all the time)

  • We don't keep juice in the house so when Evie gets to have apple juice you'd think it was Christmas day.
  • We don't keep soda in the house.

Haha, just kidding! I am the same way, mainly because I will eat it if it is here. I was adamant about not giving ds juice, and now he won't ever drink it if it is offered to him, at a party or something. Water and milk. I guess I should be happy? And we can't have sweets in the house because dh will eat it, and then ds will want it, and nothing else. He has a major sweet tooth.
