place to have shower....

Okay ladies I need your help.  My bestfriend lives out of town and I am trying to help with what I can for the shower...We are looking for a place to have it...I would like Mason/West Chester area.  It is going to be somewhat big due to the fact that I have lots of out of town family and just want to have one.  Prob around 35-40 people...I was thinking that is way to big...but BFF and Mom both say it will be fine.  What do you girls think?  It will be June 19th so doing the outside thing could be a little hot and I really dont want to be hot!  haha  TIA!!!!  Big Smile

    I know that Champps in West Chester has a private party room you can reserve. I've been there for several work showers.

    I had my sisters in Eastgate at the Hampton inn. I know that location won't work for you, but maybe call area hotels and ask how much their meeting room would be. We had 43 people there and I think it worked out well. It was only $125

    Rafferty's in West Chester has a free party room, you can bring in a cake, but have to eat their food.

    The Voice of America lodge is great for showers, we almost had mine there. The only downfall is that the cost was around $150 and you have to use their preferred list of caterers.

    Oh and 35-40 isn't too big. We are inviting around 55 to the shower my mother is throwing me. We just have a big family. Keep in mind that not everyone you invite will be able to make it.

    I've been to several similar events at Meridian Conference Center (Wingate Inn Hotel in West Chester), and they've always been enjoyable.
