I had IUI#1 this afternoon. It was a bit more painful than I expected but overall went well I suppose. The nurse said I had a tilted cervix and that made inserting the catheter more painful.
DH's numbers were great, so that is something the be thankful for. He had 1.1 billion pre-wash and 226 million post-wash. Nothing left to do now but cross my fingers for 2 weeks!

did u take any pain medicine before u went in? I have my First IUI later this week and Im nervous!!

I did take 2 extra strength tylenols before I went because I've had a cold, not because I thought I would be in pain. On my way out they said only Tylenol for pain, no advil or alieve.

Yeah! So happy you had great numbers and were able to successfully do the IUI yesterday.
I'm sorry it was more uncomfortable than you expected. :-( Hope you are feeling all better now.
Did you know you had a tilted cervix? I guess that's not something you would even know unless there was a reason to though..
